Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to use our website comfortably — whatever device, browser or assistive technology you rely on. This page explains our commitment, what we've done, and how to get help if something isn't working for you.

Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as a practical standard, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing part of how the site is built and maintained — not a one-off task.

What we've done

Accessibility features that are part of the site today.

  • Semantic, structured pages

Proper headings, landmarks and lists so screen readers and assistive tech can navigate the content in a logical order.

  • Keyboard navigation

Menus, links, forms and accordions can be operated with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline so you can always see where you are.

  • Readable colour & contrast

Text and controls are chosen to meet strong colour-contrast levels, in both the light and dark themes.

  • Plain-English content

We write clearly and avoid unnecessary jargon, which helps everyone — not just people using assistive tech.

  • Reduced-motion support

If your device is set to reduce motion, animations and transitions are minimised or turned off automatically.

  • Responsive on any device

The site adapts to phones, tablets and desktops, and images include descriptive alternative text.

Ongoing work & known limits

We keep improving the site over time, and some third-party content (such as embedded maps or external tools) may not fully match our own standards. If you come across a barrier anywhere on the site, we'd genuinely like to know so we can fix it.
